Scotty Mac

When you meet this guy in person, one the first things Scotty Mac will tell you is he is a true Louisiana boy. And his on-air radio roots run deep…and right through Central Louisiana. While he has been in some big city places like Houston, New Orleans, and San Antonio; he found out over time his heart was calling him home. “There is no place better for a Cenla boy to be than IN Cenla.” So, this ASH grad came back to the place where his radio career began. “That was JUST a few seasons ago,” Scotty joked. Now, Scotty has found an afternoon on-air home on 100.3 KRRV. “I don’t think you’ll find a more ‘down home’ radio station than this one.” Scotty says he is thrilled to be a part of this legendary radio station in Cenla. “100.3 KRRV is one of the most locally wired-in stations I’ve ever been a part of. With some AWESOME people.”

In his “free” time, Scotty enjoys a good work out, writing blogs and recording the Scotty With Cheese podcasts. His faith and family are important. Scotty loves hanging out with his wife Melanie and six kids (including two “bonus” daughters), AND his new little granddaughter. As a former member of the LSU Golden Band from Tigerland, Scotty always looks forward to breaking out the ol’ trombone once a year, as he heads down to LSU to perform with his band buddies on the LSU Alumni Band weekend. “It is so exhilarating to be inside Tiger Stadium playing again." He adds, “former LSU football players can show up at halftime, and just wave to the crowd. WE can still play!” And play he does. In fact, he’s NOW playing Today’s Best Country every afternoon on 100.3 KRRV. “Let’s do this, and have some fun!”

Bob Kingsley

Every time he gets in front of the microphone, Bob Kingsley adds to his status as the most listened-to radio voice in country music history. The host and executive producer of Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40, far and away the most successful show of its kind, has been the king of the country countdown for three decades now, and to hear him tell it, the process retains every bit of its magic.

"I love the music and the people who make it," he says, "and I want our listeners to have as much insight into both as it's possible to give them, and to make the experience as enjoyable as possible."

Bob has long been dedicated to serving the industry as a whole, having been for many years a member of the board of directors of the Academy of Country Music. He has also given tireless service to veterans' groups and the VA itself. He served as Master of Ceremonies at the National Veterans Day Ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery in both 2004 and 2005, one of many national and regional events to which he has volunteered time and energy, and he has helped get information on benefits to countless veterans through vehicles like his Veterans Day 2005 radio special, "Bob Kingsley Salutes America's Veterans." His many charitable endeavors include work for Disabled American Veterans, the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, the Wounded Warrior Project, The Palliative Unit of Cook's Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, and St. Jude Hospital. An avid cutting horse enthusiast, he lives and works in Weatherford, TX.
